Great awards for Xperia arc and Xperia mini

August 15th, 2011 We are very happy and proud today! EISA (European Imaging and Sound Association) has announced their annual awards and two of our phones have been selected as winners this year!

Xperia arc was selected as European Camera Phone of the Year 2011-2012, while Xperia mini won the European Green Smartphone 2011-2012.

As an Xperia arc user myself, I’m really pleased that it was selected as the Camera Phone of the Year, because it really does have a great camera and the photos (and video) you can get with arc are fantastic! And the phone just looks so good…

And Xperia mini’s award as European Green Smartphone is just as exciting. Xperia mini is actually part of our Greenheart portfolio, which means that they are produced with non toxic paint, recycled plastics, reduced packaging, and also include an e-manual and a green charger. Actually, we have been committed on reducing toxic materials and chemicals, and also working on recycling our materials and producing more eco-friendly phones for a long time now, so this award makes us really happy.
