problemón con portátil Dell AYUDAAA

Resulta que al encender el portátil, un Dell Inspiron 1520 con XP Profesional, no me arranca. me sale el error:

internal hard disk drive not found
to resolve this issue, try to reseat the drive

no bootable devices--strike F1 to retry boot, F2 for setup utility
Press F5 to run omboard diagnostics



Estoy desesperada..

Disco duro lo tienes jodido, o mal conectado, pasale algun test, mira aver si la bios te lo detecta, abrelo si lo tienes bien conecatado, y si el test no te detecta ningun error en sectores, y esta bien conectado.
